Summary: Black & Decker Air Station
Comment: I purchased a Black & Decker Air Station as a Christmas gift for my son. Since he was always borrowing ours I knew that he would love it and he did! It arrived within four days after I placed the order. The air station has so many uses. It is great for inflating tires and childrens toys. Because it is small and compact it is easy to handle. We have one for several years and use it all the time.

    Summary: Great product.
Comment: Fills auto tires a lot faster than the combo air compressor/light products. The gauge is accurate within 1 lb. Only improvement I would recommend would be a gauge that goes up in increments of 1 or 2 lbs of pressure. For example, it is only by luck that one can get exactly 43 psi on a gauge that goes up in increments of 10. I have an older model air station and its gauge went up in increments of 2 psi per line. With that I could get 42psi or 43psi exactly with ease and no guessing. The auto stop is a nice feature when filling a tire requiring a lot of air, such as a truck tire needing 80psi. Just set the dial, start it up, and walk away to do something else while the tire fills. When you return later, the tire is full and the compressor has shut down.

This is a great product which could be perfect with a more accurate gauge increment.

Summary: Nearly a decade over 80
Comment: Joining The War At Sea 1939 - 1945We moved, and I left my tire inflator restricted to 12V behind. Winter came and the space under my instrument panel said, "Low tire pressure." At a gas station, paid 50 cents and bent down to inflate tires. One tire inflated, and device demanded another 50 cents! Gave that up and searched Amazon for inflators. Decided on the Black and Decker. One reviewer did not like the automatic cutoff when indicated pressure was reached, but I liked that feature, so I bought the Black & Decker. Have used it on 120V in my garage and it worked fine. Next test will be a 12 volt road test. Human factors are good in this neat package. Works on bikes too.

Comment: What a terrific item. Got this for my husband for Christmas and he was surprised by the quality. It works great too. Have used it on an automobile tire and works as it was supposed to. Would recommend one of these in each home.

Summary: I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR AND VERY SATISFIED
Comment: Have had this Black and Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator since Nov. 12, 2008 and have used it several times. Have not found any thing negative about it. Some have left negative feelings about the lenth of the AC cord or air hose being to short or the noise it makes. As for me it is no big thing with me. The main thing is that it has done what I have paid for. As to the accuracy of the air guage the manual tells you that it has a accurancy of + or - 3% at any pressure reading. The gas station pumps that you now have to pay to use have a worst accuracy reading.

The main reason for buying the Black and Decker Air Station was for conveniency. I don't have to hunt for a gas station pump (that works), and then one that is easy to pull up to. I don't have to wait my turn to use next. How long did you last have to wait ( 10, 20 minutes ) to use a pump? Plus what was the weather conditions then ( 30 degrees, 95 degrees, snow, rain ) the last time you had to PAY to use a gas station pump?
